For the smoothie base

  • 200g frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries)
  • 100g frozen, sliced banana (about 1 large banana)
  • 2 heaped tbsp porridge oats
  • 300ml – 350ml almond milk, oat milk or cow’s milk
  • 2 tbsp Rowse Clear Honey
  • 4 tbsp plain yoghurt (optional)
  • 2 tbsp almond butter (optional)

For the toppings choose from:

  • frozen or fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries)
  • toasted, flaked almonds
  • desiccated coconut
  • goji berries
  • pumpkin seeds
  • Rowse Clear Honey

1. Put all of the smoothie base ingredients into a blender with 300ml of the milk and blitz until you have a smooth, thick consistency, adding more milk if needed; the smoothie should be thick enough to eat with a spoon.

2. Pour into two bowls and sprinkle with toppings of your choice, and a drizzle of honey. Eat straight away while still icy cold.
