Overnight chocolate, banana and honey oats

Overnight chocolate, banana and honey oats

Make this the night before then grab it straight from the fridge for a quick, healthy breakfast. It tastes much more indulgent than its ingredients suggest and can satisfy sweet cravings as a healthy snack.

For the overnight oats

  • 100g porridge oats
  • 250ml almond milk, oat milk or cow’s milk
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and mashed to a pulpy mush
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp Rowse Clear Honey

For the toppings

  • 2 tbsp toasted, flaked almonds or chopped almonds
  • fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • 2 squares dark chocolate, roughly chopped
  • Rowse Clear Honey

1. For the overnight oats, mix all the overnight oats ingredients in a bowl or divide between two jam jars, screw the lids on tightly and shake thoroughly to combine. Leave in the fridge overnight.

2. To serve, top with flaked, toasted almonds, fresh berries and a few chunks of dark chocolate. (Pour into two bowls and sprinkle with toppings of your choice, and a drizzle of honey. Eat straight away.)
