Christmas tree honey & spice cookies

Ingredient title

  • 250g plain flour
  • 3 tbsp Rowse honey
  • 150g butter
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 50g icing sugar and a few drops of water
  • a few bees to decorate
  • Gently heat the honey and butter together, then leave to cool slightly.
  • In a bowl, add the rest of the ingredients mixing thoroughly.
  • Roll the dough out on a flour dusted surface and cut out cookies with a cookie cutter.

    Bake for around 10 minutes at 180C – watching until the cookies start to go slightly golden.

  • Leave to cool.
  • Make the icing by mixing the icing sugar and water to form a thick paste runny enough to drizzle and get icing. Finish with some bees to decorate.
