  • Cooking time 40m

  • 150g chilli paste or chilli sauce, like Sriracha
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • knob ginger, peeled and finely grated
  • 4 tbsp Rowse squeezy honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1kg chicken wings
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  1. Heat the oven to 200C, 180C fan, gas mark 6.
  2. In a large bowl mix together the chilli paste, garlic, ginger, honey, sesame oil and soy sauce.
  3. Add the wings and toss together with the marinade to coat well. Leave to marinate if you like, or cook straight away.
  4. Arrange the wings on a baking tray lined with baking paper and cook in the oven for 35 minutes, then sprinkle with the sesame seeds and return to the oven for another 5 minutes. The wings should be sticky and deep red. Allow to cool slightly before serving, so that the wings can be picked up!
