Spiced Porridge with Cranberry Sauce, Apples & Honey

This wintery porridge packed with Christmas flavour is the perfect pick me up in the winter months, before you even have put the tree up you can start to feel like Christmas is here!

Ingredients

Top tip: Tick off the items you've already got, so you can quickly see what's left to buy

For the Porridge:

    Place the oats, milk, all spice and salt into a small non-stick saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in the honey stir then switch off the heat and allow the porridge to rest.

For the Caramelized Apples:

    In a pan, add the butter and apples and allow to char on both sides on a high heat. Turn off the heat and add in the honey and a pinch of all spice

To Serve:

    Top the porridge with a spoonful of Cranberry sauce and swirl into the porridge, add a few slices of the caramelised apples and then top with more honey.
