With the introduction of our Rowse British range in February 2023, we were excited to unveil a new and eco-friendly packaging solution. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we replaced the traditional plastic tamper evidence with a recyclable paper alternative. This small change allowed us to eliminate plastic from our Rowse British range and contribute to a greener future.

Moving forward, we’ll be rolling this out across all our glass jars. By gradually implementing this change across all our Rowse jars, we will save approximately 31.6kg of plastic packaging every year. This means that every time you enjoy a jar of our delicious honey, you are also supporting a more sustainable packaging solution.

Our transition to paper tamper evidence is a step towards reducing our environmental footprint. We understand the importance of prioritising the planet, especially when it’s home to the honey bee and we truly believe that every small change can make a big difference. By choosing recyclable materials for our tamper evidence, we are taking a proactive approach to reducing plastic waste and promoting a greener lifestyle.

So, the next time you reach for a jar of Rowse honey, you can feel good knowing that it not only tastes amazing but also comes in packaging that aligns with your values. Join us on this journey towards a more sustainable future, one jar of honey at a time. Together, we can make a positive impact on the environment and inspire others to do the same.
